While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Israeli police re-close Al-Aqsa Mosque following overnight raid

Sunday 22-June-2025

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC)

The Israeli occupation police re-closed Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Sunday morning, just a few days after reopening it to Muslim worshipers.

Last Wednesday evening, the Israeli police partially reopened the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque after nearly six days of complete closure.

According to the Islamic Awqaf Administration in the holy city, Israeli occupation forces on Sunday morning reinstated the full closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque, barring worshipers from entry except for mosque guards and Islamic Awqaf staff.

The closure followed an overnight raid by Israeli police, during which they stormed prayer halls, ransacked sacred spaces, and removed worshipers by force. They also detained four of the Mosque guards while others were interrogated on-site.

As the Israeli occupation regime launched its war on Iran, its forces shut the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque — Islam’s first Qibla — barring Friday prayers on June 13, 2025, and keeping it entirely closed since.

Civil Defense: Israel blocks recovery of bodies of Gaza aid massacre victims

Sunday 22-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Civil Defense has accused the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) of obstructing efforts to retrieve the bodies of Palestinians killed in an earlier massacre in the northwest of Gaza Strip, as victims’ families remain unable to bury their loved ones with dignity.

In a press statement on Sunday, the Civil Defense said it is still awaiting a response from IOF regarding its second formal request—submitted through the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)—to allow its teams to access the Al-Soudaniya area and retrieve the remaining bodies of martyrs.

The area was the site of a massacre committed by the IOF against dozens of young men who had gathered in desperation to receive humanitarian aid. Five days later, Israel permitted rescue teams to recover 15 bodies, but has since refused to grant access to complete the operation.

“Until this moment, the IOFs continue to deny us access to retrieve the remaining bodies,” the statement said.

The Civil Defense also reported that the IOFs have rejected requests to assist in locating and rescuing two women reported missing in separate incidents: one from the Salem family at the entrance of the Bait Lahya Project, and another from the Al-'Attar family last seen at Abu Tammam School in Bait Lahya.

Condemning what it called the IOFs “inhumane obstinacy,” the Civil Defense warned that denying access to recover the bodies of martyrs violates fundamental principles of international humanitarian law and human rights.

It called on international humanitarian and rights organizations to intervene immediately and pressure Israel to allow recovery operations so that the martyrs may be buried in accordance with basic human dignity.

Gaza death toll rises to 55,959 as Israeli continues the genocide

GAZA, June 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Sunday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 55,959, the majority of whom have been children and women, since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, on October 7, 2023.

The Ministry added that the number of the injured Palestinians has risen to 131,242 since the start of the aggression, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, unable to be reached by ambulance and civil defense crews.

They indicated that 51 slain people (including 3 whose bodies were recovered) and 104 injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.

The death toll and injuries since March 18, when the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement, has reached 5,647 and 19,201 injuries.

They noted that there are still a number of victims under the rubble and in the streets, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

PGMO: Death toll from Israeli-US “aid center” attacks in Gaza reaches 450

Sunday 22-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Palestinian Government Media Office (PGMO) in Gaza announced on Sunday that the number of Palestinians killed in what it described as “Israeli-US death traps” has reached 450, with thousands more injured or missing. The term refers to so-called aid distribution points which have repeatedly been targeted by Israeli occupation forces (IOF), resulting in mass civilian casualties among those seeking food and relief.

According to a press statement, the total toll stands at 450 martyrs, 3,466 wounded, and 39 missing since the targeting at these sites began.

The PGMO emphasized that these attacks are part of the genocide campaign that has been ongoing since October 7, 2023. This includes systematic killings, enforced starvation, large-scale destruction of infrastructure, and forced displacement—actions that openly defy international law and the rulings of the International Court of Justice.

Backed militarily and politically by the United States, the Israeli occupation army has left over 187,000 Palestinians martyred or wounded, with more than 11,000 still missing, and hundreds of thousands forcibly displaced. The siege-induced famine has already claimed numerous lives, including many children.

Despite repeated international calls for a ceasefire and humanitarian intervention, the IOF continues its campaign unchecked, with what observers say is deliberate targeting of aid seekers to maximize civilian suffering and pressure.

Israeli attacks kill, injure dozens of civilians in Gaza

Sunday 22-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Sunday, to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including Israeli attacks on two homes that killed two civilians, including a kid, in Gaza City’s Al-Tuffa'h neighborhood.

Another attack on a house in Al-Nusayrat in central Gaza claimed the lives of two citizens and injured others.

Casualties were also reported following an Israeli attacks on a tent sheltering a displaced family in Al-Mawasi area of Al-Qarara, in the northwest of Khan Younus, southern Gaza.

Ten people suffered injuries when Israeli forces opened fire at aid seekers near the US-backed distribution point in northern Rafa'h, south of Gaza.

Meanwhile, many Palestinian in Gaza were pronounced dead after they succumbed to injuries they sustained in recent attacks.

The Israeli occupation army also launched attacks on other areas of the Gaza Strip last night and today, killing and wounding more civilians, including children and women.

Five people, including children, killed in Israeli airstrike on home in central Gaza

Sunday 22-June-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out a deadly airstrike on Sunday afternoon, targeting a home in the town of Al-Zawayida in central Gaza, killing five members of the 'Hamdan family, including children, in another massacre against civilians.

Al-'Awda Hospital in Al-Nusayrat confirmed receiving two martyrs with their bodies severely mutilated and three others wounded in the strike, among them a boy and a girl.

Local sources said the bombing occurred near a diesel facility close to the Gulf Dairy Factory.

This latest assault adds to the relentless genocide Israel has been waging on the Gaza Strip for 625 consecutive days. The ongoing war, marked by repeated massacres and systematic targeting of civilians, has been compounded by a suffocating blockade and the weaponization of hunger through enforced starvation.

Medical officials reported that, in the past 24 hours alone, hospitals in Gaza received 51 martyrs and 104 wounded amid nonstop air and ground assaults by the IOF.

In addition to Sunday’s airstrike, the Israeli army continued its attacks on starving civilians gathered near Israeli-American-controlled “aid” centers, particularly in southern Gaza. These centers have become deadly traps, drawing desperate Palestinians seeking food and medicine under the threat of targeted strikes.

Rights organizations have warned that these repeated attacks on civilian homes, aid seekers, and vital infrastructure represent clear violations of international law and amount to war crimes.

The bodies of the victims arrived in pieces at Al-'Awda Hospital in Al-Nusayrat refugee camp. Another airstrike targeted the Al-Saftawi area in northern Gaza City.

IOFs kidnap 25 Palestinians in West Bank raids, including women and children

Sunday 22-June-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) launched a broad kidnapping campaign across multiple West Bank governorates early Sunday, detaining more than 25 Palestinians, including two women, two children, and a female university student. The coordinated raids were accompanied by widespread home invasions, property destruction, and attacks on symbolic national landmarks.

In the Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) governorate, IOFs stormed Al-Duhaisha refugee camp, arresting 16 residents after raiding dozens of homes. Troops detained around 100 citizens for several hours, vandalizing homes and damaging personal belongings in what residents described as a campaign of collective punishment.

In Nablus, IOF arrested eight Palestinians during raids on the villages of Burqa, 'Huwwara, and Qaryout. Among those detained were former prisoners Mustafa Hajja and Reas Abu Omar, as well as two women. During the Burqa raid, soldiers defaced a memorial dedicated to Palestinian martyrs—cutting down a statue of the iconic resistance symbol,  'Handthala, and scrawling racist graffiti over the names of the martyrs.

In the Jenin governorate, arrests included Jandal Sala'h from Kafr Dan and Mu'hammed Jarrar from Kafr Qud, following violent home raids.

In Ramallah and Al-Beereh, the IOFs detained two children: 15-year-old Ibraheem Al-'Ubour and 13-year-old Mu'hammed Shuraiti'h, both from the town of Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya. Salam Rizqallah, a university student from the Um Al-Sharayit neighborhood in Al-Beereh, was also arrested.

In a separate incident, IOFs raided the home of recently released prisoner 'Hamada Abrash, threatening him not to publicly celebrate his upcoming wedding.

This latest wave of arrests reflects a growing escalation by IOFs in the West Bank, marked by systematic targeting of citizens and civilian infrastructure.

Nour Shams camp faces ongoing home demolitions amid prolonged onslaught on Toulkarm

Toulkarm, June 22, 2025 (WAFA) -

Israeli bulldozers continued on Sunday large-scale demolitions in Nour Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, as part of the ongoing and escalating onslaught on the city and its two refugee camps.

Today marks the 147th consecutive day of aggression on the city and its refugee camps, including 134 days of continuous attacks specifically targeting Nour Shams refugee camp.

According to WAFA correspondent, the demolition operations are advancing rapidly, with six heavy-duty bulldozers used to target residential buildings in the Al-Manshiyya neighborhood and surrounding areas. The structures have been completely leveled, and wide roads are being opened in their place. These actions are part of a weeks-long ongoing aggression that has so far resulted in the destruction of more than 30 residential buildings in the camp.

In the past two weeks, Tulkarem refugee camp has witnessed the demolition of more than 50 buildings, resulting in the creation of wide roads through the heart of the camp. The destruction has caused extensive damage to the camp’s infrastructure and residential facilities.

These demolitions are part of a plan announced by the occupation authorities in May, targeting the destruction of 106 buildings across both Toulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, including 58 buildings in Tulkarem camp, under the pretext of opening roads, an action aimed at altering the camp’s character and erasing its physical structure.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces maintain a complete blockade on both camps and their surrounding areas. Infantry units and military vehicles are stationed throughout the alleyways, neighborhoods, and access points, preventing residents from accessing their homes to inspect or collect their belongings. Live fire has been used against anyone attempting to get close.

To date, the offensive has resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens more have been injured or detained, with widespread destruction inflicted on homes, infrastructure, commercial properties and vehicles.

According to recent estimates, over 5,000 families—more than 25,000 people—have been forcibly displaced from the two camps. Approximately 400 homes have been completely destroyed, while another 2,573 have sustained partial damage. Both camps remain sealed off by earth mounds, effectively turning them into areas nearly devoid of life.

Israeli occupation forces continue assault against Jineen-area village

Jineen, June 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces have continued raids on the village of Sannour, south of Jineen, since Saturday.

A'hmed Daraghma, head of the Sannour Council, told WAFA that the occupation forces raided entire neighborhoods in the village, searched their homes, forcibly displaced several families, and transformed the village into military barracks.

He added that a curfew has been imposed on the village since last night until further notice, and that occupation soldiers are preventing people from leaving to attend to their needs, explaining that this situation necessitated the formation of an emergency committee to attempt to deliver supplies and bread to people in their homes due to the ongoing closure.

Daraghma confirmed that the occupation forces detained a large number of young men and interrogated them on the spot, in addition to arresting some, although there is no information on their numbers due to the ongoing aggression.

The occupation forces raided Sannour last night, Saturday, with a large number of infantry units, and imposed a curfew until further notice.

Israeli occupation forces intensify restrictions in Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)’s Old City

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), June 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces intensified their restrictions and closures in the Old City of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), on Sunday.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces shut down all roads leading to the Al-Buraq Square (also known to Jews as the Western Wall Plaza), including access points from Bab Al-Asbat, Bab Al-Maghariba, Jurat El-A'anab, and Bab al-Khaleel.

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre and all other Christian churches and religious sites were also closed under the pretext of orders issued by what is referred to as the Home Front Command.

The governorate added that the Old City was placed under heightened alert, with a heavy deployment of Israeli forces and special units, as part of military measures to secure a visit by the Israeli Prime Minister to the Al-Buraq Wall, accompanied by a media crew from the right-wing Channel 14.

Italian Journalists hold sit-in in Rome to protest Israeli crimes against Palestinian journalists in Gaza

ROME, June 22, 2025 (WAFA) –

Dozens of Italian journalists and media professionals held a sit-in on Sunday at Porta San Giovanni Square in the Italian capital, Rome, to protest and denounce the Israeli occupation’s crimes against Palestinian journalists in Gaza.

Participants held photos of journalists who were killed in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza. They called for respect for international law and demanded concrete actions to end the genocide in Gaza, including Israel’s withdrawal from the Strip and the immediate entry of aid provided by the United Nations and other relevant international organizations.

During the sit-in, participants issued a statement asserting that a genocide is unfolding before our eyes in Gaza, where the killing of 226 journalists marks an unprecedented figure, surpassing even those recorded in the major conflicts of the 20th century.

The statement stressed that it is thanks to the sacrifices of these journalists that the world has come to know the reality of what is happening in Gaza. It noted that this comes amid ongoing Israeli efforts to block international media access to the Strip, while continuing to target Palestinian journalists and their families with deadly attacks.

The demonstrators also denounced the media's double standards when reporting on victims of Israeli violence. They urged the Italian and European press to freely use the term "genocide" when describing the situation in Gaza.

Additionally, they called on editorial boards and official institutions in Italy to take a firm stand, stating that silence is no longer acceptable and encouraging greater mobilization among Italian journalists.

They further appealed to Italy and the European Union—both bound by specific international obligations—to take decisive steps to prevent and halt the ongoing genocide.

The statement also demanded that Israel respect the right to media coverage by immediately allowing international media access to Gaza and the occupied Palestinian Territory. Refusing this access, they argued, constitutes an arbitrary violation of the right to information and a breach of fundamental democratic principles.

===============================================================================================================================

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.
